DIS30a - Nairobi / Nakuru / Sweetwaters / Samburu

Day 1 Arrival in Nairobi and transfer to hotel for overnight.

 Day 2 After breakfast departure from your hotel in Nairobi and proceed towards Nakuru National Park. Arrive end morning and have lunch at Flamingo Hill Camp. Afternoon game-drive. Dinner & overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp

Day 3 Early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the Camp. Relax and enjoy wildlife and view from your tent. Lunch at the Camp. Afternoon game-drive. Dinner & Overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp

Day 4 After breakfast continue the safari and via Nyahururu (Thomson Falls) to the Aberdares/Mt. Kenya region. Picnic lunch enroute. Arrival at Sweetwaters Sanctuary in the afternoon. Dinner & Overnight Sweetwaters tented Camp.

Day 5 Early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the Camp. After breakfast option to visit the Chimpanzees rescued by Jane Goodall from Rwanda. Visit Cultural Centre and meet Morani ( orphaned rhino). Lunch at the Camp. Afternoon game-drive. Dinner & Overnight at Sweetwaters tented Camp

Day 6 After breakfast leave the Mt. Kenya area and proceed North towards Samburu National Reserve. Arrive end morning, lunch at Samburu Sopa or Samburu Game Lodge. Afternoon game-drive. Dinner & Overnight at Samburu Sopa or Samburu Game Lodge

Day 7 Early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Rest of the morning relax at the lodge and enjoy the breathtaking views and wildlife along the river. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game-drive. Dinner & Overnight Samburu Sopa or Samburu Game Lodge

Day 8 Early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast start the drive back to Nairobi. Depending on the time of flight would suggest either a meal at Carnivore Restaurant or a lunch at the tea farm at Limuru ( this is situated appr. 45 min from Nairobi and is a great experience, however would then skip the early morning game-drive so that clients can really enjoy this outing). Arrival at Nairobi end afternoon

Day 5 Departure early in the morning after breakfast. Start the drive towards the Maasai Mara. Arrive at the Mara around lunchtime. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game-drive. Dinner & Overnight at Keekorok Lodge

Day 6 Early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Relax the rest of the morning and enjoy the hippos at the pond and the wildlife surrounding the lodge from a walking way ( accessible for wheelchairs). Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game-drive. Dinner & Overnight at Keekorok Lodge

Day 7 Spend the day at the park with picnic lunch. Visit the Mara River enroute. Dinner & Overnight at Keekorok Lodge

Day 8 After breakfast start the drive back to Nairobi.
