DAY 1 -
Grahamstown to Jeffrey’s Bay
Early Morning
- You will be transferred from XXL Game Reserve to
Grahamstown.
We first take
in a short tour of the historic town of Grahamstown which is
renowned for its museums, schools and more than fifty churches, some
of which were built before 1845. We will then depart for Port
Elizabeth which is located approximately 130 kilometres south of
Grahamstown. In the afternoon we will take in a seal and penguin
show before making our way to Jeffrey’s Bay which is approximately a
45 minute drive.

DAY 2 –
Jeffrey’s Bay to Plettenberg Bay
After
breakfast we can take a walk on the beach before making our way to
the Tsitsikamma Forest. We will visit the Big Tree, a giant
yellowwood that is over 500 years old before making our way to the
Bloukrans Bridge which is the largest single span bridge in the
world. We will then make our way to Plettenberg Bay where we will
overnight.

DAY 3 –
Plettenberg Bay to Knysna
After
breakfast we will make our way to Knysna via the Elephant Sanctuary.
Included in your tour price is the visit to the elephants to see
them and watch them being fed? However, should you wish to take a
ride on an elephant we can arrange this at an additional cost to you
of approximately R500.00 per person? The afternoon will be at
leisure in Knysna for shopping.

DAY 4 –
Knysna
After
breakfast we will take a tour to the Featherbed Nature Reserve. This
is a four hour trip departing Knysna at 10h00 by ferry across the
western lagoon to Featherbed Nature Reserve. We will take a 4 x 4 up
the headland into the reserve stopping at a magnificent viewpoint.
There is an optional guided walk for 2.2km through coastal forest
and fynbos into ancient sea caves. A buffet lunch will be served
outside under a canopy of Milkwood trees. We should return to Knysna
at about 14h00.

DAY 5 –
Knysna to Oudtshoorn
After
breakfast we bid farewell to Knysna and make our way via George and
the Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn. Here we will visit the Cango Caves
and to join the sixty minute Standard Tour by visiting Van Zyl’s
Hall, Botha’s Hall, Rainbow Chamber, Bridal Chamber, Fairyland
Chamber and the Drum Room. Should you wish you can upgrade to the
Advanced Tour at a small additional charge. We will also take in a
visit to a working Ostrich farm.

DAY 6 –
Oudtshoorn to Cape Town
After
breakfast we will take the scenic Route 62 via Ladismith and
Barrydale to Montagu and then via Robertson and Worcester to Cape
Town, a journey of just about 500km.

DAY 7 –
Cape Town
We will start
the day by visiting Cape Point and then travel via boulders beach to
visit the penguins and then take a coastal drive through to the V
& A Waterfront where you can spend the afternoon shopping.

DAY 8 –
Cape Town
After
breakfast we will make our way through to the winelands and spend
the day visiting various wine farms. In the early evening we can
take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain to enjoy a
magnificent Cape Town sunset. (Cable Car cost will be for your own
expense). Please note that we can only go up the mountain should the
weather permit.

DAY 9 –
CAPE TOWN – HOME
Depending on
what time of the day your flight is we can either take in a market,
do more shopping before being taken to the airport for your
flight.
